Gold Goes for Goals!

Team Gold was able to take game one of the Spring League backed by a bevy of goals. Blue started the game fast with a few  quick points but the rookies on Gold got comfortable as the 1st quarter ticked on and started applying constant pressure on the Blue goal. A trio of rookies had goals for the Gold including Frank G, Tim Sanders and player of the match Christian. Vets Jordan Smitley and Chris Stratton provided a stable presence in the midfield and goal which allowed the Gold attack to continue to press forward through out the game. The exciting game play was also a learning experience and Player/Coach Maron took time to give instructions on responsibilities when free ins are being taken. 

Blue will look to even the score next Sunday, March 16th at 11:00am at Hampton Park. Come out and spend your St. Patrick’s Day weekend enjoying the national sport of Ireland! You can also see us in the Park Circle St Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday.
