Inaugural Savannah Scottish Festival Cup

The Charleston GAA was invited by the Pooler GAA to take part in the first ever Savannah Scottish Festival Hurling Cup on May 3rd. In the morning players from Charleston, Pooler and Savannah drafted teams for a pair of friendly matches. This was followed by the first ever Savannah Scottish Festival Championship Game between Pooler and Charleston. Pooler jumped out to an early lead but the Charleston hurlers fought back and went into halftime with the lead. Na Darach was able to shut down the Pooler attack in the second half and won the first cup for the club since 2022 with a final of 4-8 to 3-2. The Charleston attack was driven by rookie Daniel Smollon who was named team MVP on the day.

On April 12th Charleston GAA hosted multiple clubs from the Southeast Region for the 12th annual Holy City Cup. The club opened the day with a disappointing 1 point loss to Pooler and finished group play with a defeat to Greenville. The McGrath Law Firm Group finished with Greenville on top, Pooler second and Charleston in 3rd. In the Trikekepro Group, Red Wolves finished 1st followed by Augusta and Raleigh. In between hurling matches a group of Gaelic Footballers from Winston-Salem and Charleston put on a football demonstration as the Charleston GAA continues to build its football program.

The 2025 Spring League has come to an end and despite a change in the scoring the same results continued. Team Gold ended the season undefeated with a one point win in week 3 and a comfortable win in week 4. The scoring was reversed for these last two games as a way for the club to work on pointing. A goal was worth 1, a point worth 2 and a free or 65 worth 3. In the end the desired outcome was achieved as points scored in the last two weeks more than doubled what was scored in the first 2 games.
