Our 2022 successful season is coming to a close. We have our final fall pub league matches this Sunday October 30th. Having four teams participate this year has been a joy hopefully we can continue it next year. The first game will be Ireland’s Own vs Bailey’s Pub. The second game will be Columbia vs Citadel. We thank the Citadel for hosting this year’s pub league. The afters will be at Tommy Condon’s.

On July 13, 2019 one of Charleston Hurling Club’s favorite members got married in Galway City. Shannon Farrelly played with Charleston from 2016. She was a huge part of the early successes of the club and it was a tremendous loss when she decided to leave us to take a great job in NYC. But we are ultimately glad that she did because that’s where she met the love of her life, the Liberty Gaels camogie club………just kidding.

We're pleased to announce our partnership with local physician group Palmetto Primary (and Specialty) Care Physicians. Palmetto Primary Care is pleased to be the official club physicians as well as sponsors. Chairman Brian Bland recently met with Dr. Gordon Thompson, a long-time hurler, and the other doctors of the Trident office to present them with a jersey to decorate their wall.

USGAA Southeast Development Coach Cormac Walsh visited Charleston from April 27 to May 1, 2019. In his first stop, Walsh visited the series of sevens friendlies between Charleston and Augusta. Walsh helped referee the hurling and spent some time educating hurlers on Gaelic football. Read more about the Charleston Sevens
