Spring Update

With it being March the official kick off to the start of the hurling season I wanted give a preview of the upcoming spring season.

This Saturday we have the Camden Irishfest tournament which will be exciting to bring Gaelic games to the Camden Irishfest. It’ll be good competition against Greenville, Augusta and The Citadel.

Next Saturday we have Park Circle parade and block party. We will be marching in the parade and have tent to promote the club. It goes from 12pm-5pm. Please come out for all or part of the day to help promote the club.

We are in the downtown Charleston St. Patrick’s day parade. It’s on Thursday, March 17th once we have more details we will let you know.

Sunday practices will be at Hampton Park starting at 10am. We will not have one this Sunday with Camden being on Saturday. Wednesday night practices will start up March 16th at Corrine Jones.

Sunday, March 27th we are having a club bbq at Jay McNealy’s house. We are still finalizing details but save the date and bring the family.

Club dues and USGAA registration deadline is April 22. If you have any questions or concerns about this please talk to a board member.

The club t-shirt’s please send me your shirt sizes by Thursday March 3rd. We will be handing the shirts out at the bbq at McNealy’s to fully paid members. Anyone after this will receive their shirts once they are fully paid also.

Holy City Cup is Saturday, April 23rd at Carolina Voyager Charter School in West Ashley. The address is 721 Wapoo Road. More details to
follow. Afters will be at Tommy Condon’s.
