After going against tradition and delaying our yearly tournament until the fall, we were finally able to host the Holy City Cup! With no hurricanes in sight, we welcomed the beautiful (if a little hot) first day of fall as the perfect day for hurling.

Life University in Atlanta, Georgia played host to the 2015 Southeast Hurling Championship on Saturday, August 1. The host club, Atlanta Clan na nGael, competed against Charleston, South Carolina over two games with the champion decided on points differential.

In all, 45 hurlers from the Southeastern Division of the North American GAA came together in Cayce, South Carolina on Saturday, April 6th, for the second annual Tartan Day South hurling tournament. However, this was the first year that a trophy was on offer, affectionately named after the Consulate General of Ireland in Atlanta, the prestigious Paul Gleeson Cup.

The club made history on December 8, 2012, by competing in the Azalea Cup in Augusta, GA. This was the first time that a team made up of representatives only from Charleston competed together, marking a great milestone in the club that is still in its first year of existance.
